MONTREAL – Management of SIRIOS (TSX-V: SOI) is pleased to announce that the 2017-2018 Autumn-Winter diamond drilling program on the Cheechoo gold property, at Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec, has been exceeded by more than 4,000 metres. This brings the total drilling of this program to more than 22,000 metres, while respecting the initial budget. Furthermore, following a recommendation of the technical committee, the Board of Sirios has allowed the undertaking of an additional dozen of holes totalling 3,000 metres financed from funds currently available in the company. These drill holes will complete the systematic coverage of the main gold area measuring approximately 500 metres by 500 metres with 50-metre spacing.

The fieldwork continues on Cheehoo with the drilling of holes #186 and 187. More than 47 drill holes have been completed in 2018, in addition to the 33 drill holes in the Autumn 2017. Assay results of the last 15 drill holes of 2017 (#126 to 140) will be available and released very shortly. Finally, a downhole logging survey is ongoing, over 30 preselected drill holes will be surveyed that will generate structural information on a cumulative length of approximately 10,000 metres.
