MONTREAL, QUEBEC) – Management of SIRIOS (TSX VENTURE: SOI) is pleased to announce the appointments of geologists Nicole Gauthier and Louis Martin to the respective position of Exploration Manager and Technical Advisor.

Mrs. Gauthier has over two decades of experience in the mineral exploration sector. Prior to joining Sirios, she held the position of senior geologist with IAMGOLD Corporation in Val d’Or, where she managed and supervised projects as well as exploration teams. Mrs. Gauthier’s previous geological experience also include SOQUEM Inc., based in Quebec City. Her abundant field experience in gold exploration, as well as her expertise in deposit modelling will be important assets to the company. She holds a Master’s degree from University of Montreal and a five-year Doctoral study at University of Laval. The exploration team of Sirios will benefit from her expertise, enthusiasm and commitment.

Mr. Louis Martin, an independent geological consultant, has over 30 years of experience with major, mid-tier, and junior mining companies. He has made significant contributions to the discovery of several gold and base metal deposits during his career. His exploration and mine development experience were acquired in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia. Mr. Martin was part of the exploration teams that were awarded the Discovery of the Year by the AEMQ (Quebec Mineral Exploration Association) for the West Ansil Deposit (2005) and the Louvicourt Deposit (1989).  He also partook in the definition and underground development of the Norlartic, Kierens and Gold Hawk gold mines in the Val-d’Or region. He brings to Sirios a wealth of experience in all aspects of exploration from generating and managing projects, to advanced project studies and mine development. He joins Roger Doucet to form the technical advisor committee of Sirios.
