MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – June 2, 2008) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) announces the results from exploration work carried out on its KUKAMES property where an auriferous corridor was discovered in 2006. This northwest/southeast corridor, confirmed by the 2007 exploration program, is now known for a minimum strike length of 10 km by 3km wide within altered and mineralized paragneiss. Regional geological and prospecting surveys indicate that this corridor should extend for an additional length of 20 km that needs further prospecting.

Two auriferous anomalous areas totaling 20 square km were delineated in the north-western part of the corridor. In the first area “RS”, 33 grab rock samples on a total of 117 (or 28%) show gold grades averaging 0.54 g/t including 6 samples grading more than 1.0 g/t and up to a maximum of 3.8 g/t. Only two track-samples were completed and graded respectively 1.76 g/t Au over 2.0 m. (including 2.34 g/t Au over 1.5 m. previously released) and 0.25 g/t Au over 7.6 m. In the second area “Plateau”, 94 grab samples on a total of 274 (or 34%) show gold grades averaging 0.40 g/t including 10 samples grading more than 1.0 g/t and up to a maximum of 2.4 g/t.

Geological reconnaissance was completed in 2007 over almost 1,600 claims covering more than 815 square km and now allows SIRIOS to focus on a 120 square km area. Consequently the property will be progressively scaled-down to approximately 230 claims. The directors of SIRIOS believe that the significant size decrease of the KUKAMES property indicates a positive progress of this project and will allow more detailed exploration efforts to focus on the best gold potential area.

In 2006 and 2007, SIRIOS completed systematic regional geological mapping and sampling on its KUKAMES claims. Thirteen rock samples taken from two channels and 1,466 grab rock samples were collected on the property and sent for assays at the ALS-Chemex Laboratory of Val d’Or. All samples were assayed using atomic absorption technique for gold and ICP for all other elements. Industry-standard quality controls were applied, including blank, standard and duplicate inserts in the sample series. Field work was performed by the personnel of IOS Services Geoscientifiques Inc. of Saguenay, Quebec, in addition to the staff of SIRIOS, under the supervision of Rejean Girard, Geo., Qualified Person.

The KUKAMES property is wholly owned by SIRIOS and is located 40 km southeast of the Goldcorp’s Eleonore gold deposit.
