MONTREAL, CANADA–(CCNMatthews – Jan. 31, 2007) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) announces the discovery of an auriferous corridor extending over several kilometers on its wholly-owned KUKAMES property, located 40 km southeast of the Goldcorp’s Eleonore gold deposit. This northwest/southeast corridor is known for a minimum of 7 km long by 3km wide (conservative estimate) within altered and mineralized paragneiss and is coincidental with a good arsenic lake sediment anomaly. The auriferous corridor shows anomalous gold background : 58 grab samples on a total of 154 show gold concentrations greater than 0,1 g/t of which 11 are higher than 1.0 g/t up to a maximum of 3.8 g/t.

The paragneiss are variously altered with silica, biotite, garnet, amphibole, chlorite and usually host 2-5% of disseminated sulphides (pyrite, pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite). Gold is associated with garnet (10-15%) and sulphides (10-30%) enrichments. Only two track-samples were taken late fall 2006 and a 1.5m long section assayed 2.34 g/t gold (RS showing). On this showing, the gold grade increases along the channel toward the northern end of the outcrop that sbould be stripped in order to delineate the width and length of the gold zone.

Numerous sulfides-mineralized outcrops were observed inside the gold corridor without adequate sampling due to poor exposure. Work including trenching-stripping, soil geochemistry, additional geological mapping and rock sampling as well as geophysics is planned on this auriferous corridor that will be the main focus of the 2007 SIRIOS’ exploration program on KUKAMES. Furthermore, a 300-claim block (156 square km) was recently acquired to extend to the southeast the KUKAMES property to cover the strike extend of the high priority area.

During its 2006 program, SIRIOS completed systematic geological mapping and sampling of its original KUKAMES and OPINACA NORD claim blocks. A total of 1200 rock-samples were collected during this program on these properties and sent for assays at the ALS-Chemex Laboratory of Val d’Or. A complementary geochemical sampling program of the lake sediment was completed on the 2005-2006 map-staked claims. Six hundred and three bottom lake sediment samples were collected and assayed in the laboratories of Actlabs, Ancaster, Ontario. In the eastern part of the KUKAMES property several new arsenic and/or gold anomalies are associated with favorable geological environment i.e. paragneiss along large felsic plutons. The best three gold lake sediment anomalies remain unexplained and will be subject of follow-up work.

Field work is performed by the personnel of IOS Services Geoscientifiques Inc. of Saguenay, Quebec, in addition to the staff of SIRIOS, under the supervision of Rejean Girard, Geo., Qualified Person.

SIRIOS owns a large area of mining rights in the vicinity of the Goldcorp’s Eleonore gold deposit, James Bay, Quebec. SIRIOS owns more than 4,000 claims forming the PONTAX, KUKAMES and OPINACA NORD properties covering more than 2,000 sq. km in addition to the CHEECHOO and SHARKS properties, covering 300 sq. km and funded by a farming-in partner,
