SIRIOS : Diamond Drilling to Start on Terra Nova, Brazil

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA–A diamond drilling program will be
undertaken next week on the Terra Nova Brazilian Property of
SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. This property will be drilled for the
first time. Five diamond drill holes are planned to test the
Goiano Gold Vein as well as a gold soil anomaly.

The Terra Nova property covers 156 km2 in Northern Mato Grosso in
the vicinity of the town of Terra Nova. It falls within a region
known for highgrade gold veins in the Alta Floresta – Peixoto de
Azevedo Mineral Province. Local garimpeiros have produced gold
from high grade quartz veins. Geological, geophysical and soil
geochemical surveys were carried out over a 4 km x 1.2 km grid
covering the main zone of interest.

SIRIOS has entered into an agreement with AMAZONIA MINERA¬AO
LTDA, (“Amazonia”), whereby SIRIOS can earn a 50% interest in the
Terra Nova Project by incurring a total of $1 million USD in
exploration expenditures before May 2005. An additional 20%
interest can be earned by funding and completing a positive
feasibility study on the project (ref.: Press release
09/26/2002).

SIRIOS and Amazonia (web site: http://www.amzgold.com/) formed a
strategic alliance to explore for and develop small to medium
size high grade gold deposits with near term production potential
in Brazil. Amazonia is a privately owned Brazilian company formed
by a group of experienced exploration and mining professionals
from Canada and Brazil. Amazonia is currently in partnership with
Troy Resources Australia in developing the Sertao gold deposit in
Goias, Brazil.
