MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – Dec. 9, 2010) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) announces that about fifteen silver and gold potential drilling targets were delineated on its silver Pontax property, James Bay, Quebec. They are located within a 3 km radius of the high grade silver discovery made by Sirios in 2006. A few additional drilling targets are also contemplated in the north-eastern part of the property following the delineation, in summer 2010, of a 10 km2 potential area where grab samples graded up to 26.1 g/t in gold and 87.0 g/t in silver (ref. : 2010/09/13 press release).

On Pontax, the silver zone discovered in 2006 reaching up to 821 g/t in silver over 4.36 metres on surface, has been traced over 100 metres both in strike and at depth with seven drill holes reaching up to 216 g/t in silver over 4.5 metres (ref.: 2007/09/24 and 2006/11/15 press releases).

A drilling program is planned on the property during winter 2010-2011. A ground access will be available through a winter road connecting to the Matagami – Radisson paved road.

The drilling targets are well described in a soil sampling interpretation report recently delivered by independent consulting geologist Réjean Girard of the firm IOS Services Géoscientifiques Inc., Chicoutimi, Quebec. They consist of soil (humus) geochemical multi-metallic anomalies related with induced polarization geophysical anomalies.
