Sirios: New Project in the Vicinity of the Virginia's 
Eleonore Gold Discovery

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 4, 2004) - Officers of 
SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. are pleased to announce the acquisition of 174 
claims by map staking and forming the new EEAE gold exploration project. 
 This project comprises 3 blocks totaling 174 claims (40 pending), 
covering approximately 90 square km with one block adjoining to the east 
the Eleonore gold property of Virginia Gold Mines Inc. The location of 
this property was selected following study of the public geological and 
geophysical regional data.

SIRIOS is discovering precious and base metals in Quebec. SIRIOS is the 
main shareholder of DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX-V:DOS), a leader in 
diamond exploration in Quebec.
