MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA–(Marketwire – Aug. 21, 2007) – The directors of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) are pleased to announce that a first reconnaissance campaign on DIOS-SIRIOS’ Opinaca Nord project outlined three kilometric radioactive outcropping areas. The first one (NW anomaly) showed 1,300 to 20,550 counts per second (cps) over a minimum area of 1,000m by 300m. The second one (NE anomaly located 20km due east of the first one) is characterized by 1,000 to 8,500 cps over a minimum area of 500m by 300m. A third area (SW anomaly located about 3km south of the second one) showed 1,500 to 16,000 cps over a minimum area of 2,000m by 300m. One hundred and forty-one rock samples were collected during this campaign and are currently processed for uranium. All the radioactive outcropping areas are underlain by granite or pegmatitic granite injected along a regional east-west trending structural corridor. It should be noted that this campaign consisted mainly of reconnaissance work targeting the uranium lake sediment anomalies clusters and that follow-up work is planned to fully evaluate the dimensions of these radioactive zones and to systematically investigate a 25km-long uranium lake sediment anomalies trend. A Rossing-type high tonnage low-grade uranium model may be considered in association with numerous anatexis granites occurring within paragneisses (metasediments) of the Laguiche Basin. It was the first exploration program on the Opinaca Nord Property since an option agreement was negotiated with DIOS Exploration (TSX-V: DOS) to acquire a 50% interest in the SIRIOS’ property for exploration expenditures and installments totaling 1,35 M$ (07-05-16 Press Release).

Two other areas associated with gold-arsenic lake sediment anomalies clusters are also currently being investigated for gold. The areas host favourable sulphide-bearing silicified biotite paragneiss and garnet-amphibole rocks.

Located about 30 kilometers east of the Goldcorp Eleonore gold deposit, SIRIOS-DIOS’ Opinaca Nord property is also located north of Sirios-Golden Valley’s Shark gold property. The 300 sq. kilometer (576 claims) property encompasses the Laguiche sedimentary Basin.

The SIRIOS technical team considers that both uranium and gold potential is good on the Opinaca Nord property. SIRIOS owns approximately 1.3 million Common Shares of DIOS Exploration.
