SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. : Exploration Results From AQUILON

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA–SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. reports the most
recent exploration results from the AQUILON Gold Property (SIRIOS
50%, SOQUEM 50%), 10 km south of the Laforge 1 Hydro-Electrical
Facilities, James Bay, QC. Work carried out comprised mainly a
40 km ground geophysical induced-polarization (“I.P.”) survey
over part of the main area of interest and a 835 meter diamond
drilling campaign. Four drill holes (# 16 to 19) totalling 609
meters were completed over I.P. anomalies in addition to fifteen
very short vertical holes (# 1 to 15) totalling 226 meters and
including thirteen holes over a small part (30 x 60 m) of the
Lingo-West vein. These shallow drill holes, with depths ranging
from 6 to 30 meters, were undertaken to test gold grade
variations for a typical lode type ore shoot.

Ten of the thirteen drill holes completed on Lingo-West returned
the following results : 35.99 g/t Au /2.0 m; 77.81 g/t Au /1.0 m;
13.15 g/t Au /2.0 m; 3.85 g/t Au /4.6 m; 6.89 g/t Au /1.5 m; 4.23
g/t Au /1.5 m; 3.5 g/t Au /1.0 m; 3.9 g/t Au /0.75 m; 2.36 g/t
Au /3.25 m and 1.54 g/t Au /1 m. Three short holes on Lingo-West
did not return significant grade as well as two other holes
drilled in another area.

The I.P survey outlined numerous anomalies in association with
disseminated sulphides. Two drill holes tested two of these
anomalies in the vicinity of the Sortileges Dores showing with
values up to 1.94 g/t Au /1.49 m and 3.6 g/t Au /1 m. Two other
I.P. anomalies were checked by drilling in the vicinities of the
Nouska and Chicoutai showings and the first one returned up to
1.54 g/t Au /2.0 m and 1.2 g/t Au /1.6 m while there was no
significant result obtained from the second drill hole. Data
interpretation as well as a final report will be completed
shortly. This program was conducted under the supervision of
Qualified Persons, Mrs. Nicole Gauthier, Msc., P.Geo., project
manager at SOQUEM and Mr. Harold Desbiens, Msc., P.Geo., SIRIOS’
chief geologist.

All assayed samples from drill holes # 16 to 19 consisted of 0.5
to 1.5 meter long half split core. These samples were sent to ALS
Chemex Chimitec Val d’Or laboratories (“Chimitec”) and assayed
for gold by fire-assay (30 g) followed by atomic absorption. The
second half of core was kept in its core box and stored.

For drill holes # 1 to 15, all samples which were not from vein
material consisted of half split core which was sent to Chimitec
laboratories for gold fire-assay (30 g) followed by atomic
absorption. In these 15 drill holes, core from almost all quartz
veins (33 samples) was not split and was entirely send to
Chimitec laboratories for gold fire-assay with Metallic Seives
process.

SIRIOS, one of the most active mining exploration companies in
Quebec and Brazil, is the principal shareholder of DIOS
EXPLORATION INC. (TSX – DOS), one of the leaders for diamond
exploration in the Quebec Otish region.

SOQUEM INC. is a division of SGF Mineral inc., a subsidiary of
the SGF, which mission is to carry out economic development
projects in partnership and in accordance with accepted
requirements of profitability.
