MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – June 28, 2007) – The directors of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) are pleased to announce new drilling results obtained on the PONTAX silver property in James Bay, Quebec. Hole #18 (12+50E), drilled 50 meters east of holes #1 and #2 (ref.: June 1st 2007 press release), returned the following grades:
138 g/t Silver and 1,70% Zinc over 4 meters(ii), including 210 g/t Silver and 2,20% Zinc over 2 meters at a vertical depth of 100 meter.
These results indicate that the silver-zinc zone discovered on PONTAX has a minimum strike-length of 100 to 150 meter between the 11+00E and 12+50E coordinates. It extends from surface to a vertical depth of more than 100 meter. This silver-zinc zone is open at depth and on strike to the south-west.
Prospecting, ground verification of geophysical anomalies and a soil geochemical survey are currently being carried out on the property.
The drilling campaign was completed with the drilling of 20 holes totaling 3,108 meters. Up to now, only the assay results of holes #1, 2, 5, 8 and 18 have been received. Several mineralized samples were taken from each of the twenty holes and assay results should be received in the coming weeks. The half-core samples are assayed at ALS-Chemex, Val-d’Or using atomic absorption technique for gold and ICP for all other elements. Industry-standard quality controls were applied, including blank, standard and duplicate inserts in the sample series.
