MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – Sept. 1, 2009) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) and DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE:DOS) announce that an exploration program for lithium will be carried out in the next few weeks on their PONTAX property in James Bay, Quebec. Systematic channel sampling as well as diamond drilling are planned on the newly discovered lithium occurrence (ref.: 08/05/2009 Press Release). This program will give a first evaluation of the lithium grade of the mineralized zones as well as their extension in depth.

As recently announced, the lithium occurrence of the PONTAX property outcrops over an area of around 25,000 m2 and is formed by a swarm of at least a dozen pegmatitic spodumene (silicate lithium mineral) dykes each varying between one to five meters in thickness. Many grab samples graded more than 1% in lithium and are currently being re-assayed. The occurrence is located approximately 30 km south of the Cyr lithium showing, which is currently being explored by Lithium One Inc.

The PONTAX property consists of 577 claims covering around 300 km2. It is located at around 250 km north of the town of Matagami. SIRIOS and DIOS plan on separating about 25 claims in order to create a new lithium property, and will each hold an equal share, with SIRIOS as operator.
