MONTREAL, CANADA–(CCNMatthews – Nov. 20, 2006) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) releases a first geophysical map as a complement of information on the most recent results from the PONTAX property released last week on November 15 which included a rock saw channel sample grading 821 g/t Ag and 1.31 g/t Au over 4.36 meters. The map shows the relationship between the location of the high grade silver-gold mineralization and the IP (Induced Polarization) continuous chargeability anomaly extending over more than two kilometers and open on both sides along strike. Results from 12 channel samples totaling 128 meters are pending.

Furthermore, the rock type (felsic volcanics) hosting the silver-gold mineralization has been observed more than 4 km away along strike south-west of the discovery site warranting the continuation of the ground geophysical coverage. A diamond drilling program is also planned later on this winter.

The PONTAX property is located in James Bay, Quebec, some 350 km north of the town of Matagami along the paved road going to the town of Radisson.
