MONTREAL, CANADA–(CCNMatthews – June 9, 2006) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) is undertaking today the 2006 summer exploration field work on its wholly owned KUKAMES, OPINACA NORD and PONTAX properties, James Bay, Quebec, Canada. The exploration budget for this area was increased to $900,000, excluding the coming investments on CHEECHOO and SKARKS. The exploration progams consist mainly of prospecting and geological reconnaissance with emphasis on targeted areas defined by the 2005 exploration program. Furthermore, a detailed and systematic bottom lake sediment sampling program will be carried out on the new parts of the KUKAMES and OPINACA NORD properties added since last year.
The KUKAMES, OPINACA NORD, PONTAX, CHEECHOO and SKARKS properties total now 3,890 claims covering approximately 2,000 sq. km (500,000 acres) in the OPINACA -ELEONORE area, Bay James, Quebec.
