MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(CCNMatthews – May 9, 2007) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) wishes to inform its shareholders of the current exploration activities taking place on some of it’s projects in the James Bay area, in Quebec.

SILVER-GOLD – PONTAX PROJECT :

Five holes have so far been drilled on the property. The helicopter-borne drilling progam, which comprises a total of 15 holes, is being carried out as planned. All drill holes completed intersected an altered zone over several tens of meter containing pyrite disseminations varying between 5 and 15%. Small amounts (less than 3%) of sphalerite (zinc sulfide), galena (lead sulfide) and chalcopyrite (copper sulfide) were observed locally in three drill holes. These mineralized zones are similar to the one observed on surface that returned high-grade silver assays. The intense alteration of the felsic volcanic host rock consists mainly of silification, chloritization, biotitization and/or sericitization. The first samples from these drill holes have been sent to the laboratory for analysis. A delay of 3 to 4 weeks is expected before receiving the first assay results.

GOLD – KUKAMES PROJECT :

The transportation to the KUKAMES base camp of the fuel needed for the summer 2007 campaign has been completed. Geological and geochemical prospecting work is planned to take place between the months of June and August of this year.

MOLYBDENUM – TILLY PROJECT :

SIRIOS is currently negotiating a 200 km-line contract of line-cutting and induced polarization survey. Line-cutting work is planned to begin in mid-June. Geophysics, mapping and prospecting work should be carried out in July and August 2007. The TILLY property hosts numerous significant molybdenum showings discovered by SIRIOS between 1997 and 2001 where grades such as 0,07 % Mo over 85 m.; 0,14 % Mo over 23 m. and 0,47 % Mo over 3 m. were obtained in channels or in drill holes. Refer to the website to obtain more information on this project.

GOLD – AQUILON AND AQUILON EXTENSION PROJECTS :

Diamond drilling has been completed by our partner on the AQUILON properties. Drill holes completed on the Extension property intersected the magnetite-chert banded iron formation (“BIF”) with interlayers of garnet, amphibole and biotite. Even though replacement of magnetite by sulfides has been observed in several drill holes, the assays obtained remain at background levels. Five holes totaling 1,000 meters have been completed on the main AQUILON property. Many disseminated and semi-massive sulfides zone (mainly pyrrhotite) have been intersected in meta-sedimentary rocks. The company is awaiting assay results.
