MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – Nov. 27, 2007) – The directors of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) are pleased to announce the results from an uranium conceptual research project conducted by partner Dios Exploration inc. (TSX VENTURE:DOS) in James Bay, Quebec. Field prospecting confirmed high uranium potential in a new unexplored area which is furthermore enhanced by the preliminary results of an helicopter-borne radiometric survey recently completed.

The new Upinor Project is formed of 331 claims (170 square km) in three claim blocks. The main block is centered on a stratabound unit outcropping with continuous radioactive high counts per second (cps) in the order of several thousand cps up to 36,000 cps over a 2 kilometer strike length. It has been discovered by ground prospecting and consists of several radioactive sub-horizontal pegmatitic dykes reaching some ten meters in thickness over an area of 600 m by 2 km within metamorphic rocks (gneisses). Minerals such as a yellowish substance have been observed, as well as molybdenite, apatite and biotite and seventy rock samples have been taken for assaying. A detailed spacing low altitude helicopter-borne radiometric-magnetic survey was rapidly commissioned over the property and preliminary results received up to now are very encouraging and show favorable uranium/thorium ratios on the discovery area.

The Upinor Project is held by Sirios in a 50-50 partnership with Dios Exploration and Dios is operator. Field work was completed by IOS Services Geoscientifiques Inc. of Saguenay. The discovery of the thick and continuous sub-horizontal stratabound radioactive unit with high cps and good U/Th ratios is considered very significant by the Sirios-Dios exploration team. A Rossing-type high tonnage low-grade uranium model may be considered in association with numerous anatexis granites occurring within paragneisses (metasediments) of the Laguiche Basin.

The Upinor Project is located some 30 kilometers north of the Opinaca Nord which is 30 kilometers east of the Goldcorp Eleonore gold deposit, James Bay, Quebec. Three radioactive areas were outlined on the Opinaca Nord property in the 2007 summer (08/21/2007 press release). The Sirios’ Opinaca Nord property is under an option agreement entitling Dios to acquire a 50% interest in the property for exploration expenditures and installments totaling 1,35 M$.

Sirios holds approximately 4% of the share capital of Dios Exploration Inc.
