SIRIOS RESOURCES INC., Aquilon: Diamomd Drilling
Intercepts the Lingo Vein

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA–The occurrence of gold-bearing planes
(the Lingo and Muscovite veins) has been confirmed at depth on the
AQUILON property and the continuity of high grade gold zones
(Fleur de Lys) was positively tested through diamond drilling (13
drill holes totalling 1,486 m). The extents of the Lingo vein
were defined over more than 250 m and at depth during this
drilling campaign. The Muscovite vein, in close proximity, was
delineated over more than 300 m. The best result was returned
from the Fleur de Lys area. The AQUILON is 50 percent owned by
SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. and 50 percent by SOQUEM INC.

The best campaign results reached 11.5 g/t gold (9.6 cut) over 3,7
m (incl. 41.1 g/t /1 m) in a shallow drill hole near the Fleur de
Lys showing. Other significant gold grades were returned such as
follows: Fleur de Lys – 9.3 g/t/0.85 m, 1.5 g/t/3.2 m (incl. 3.9
g/t/1 m), 0.9 g/t/7.8 m, (incl. 10.4 g/t/0.4 m); and,
Lingo-Muscovite: 1 g/t/3.3 m (incl. 8.6 g/t/0.3 m), 1.8 g/t/2 m
(incl. 6.1 g/t/0.45 m), 0.8 g/t/4.2 m, 1.6 g/t/2 m et 3.9 g/t/0.5
m. The free gold nature (coarse-grained) and its distribution
throughout the veins is subject to create significant grade
variations. All samples were assayed at the Rouyn-Noranda Xral
laboratory by fire assay methods with DCP finish and checking by
gravimetry.

Several surface showings were discovered in year 2000, consisting
of very high gold grade quartz veins of centimetric to metric
size. The most significant gold values from diamond saw track
sampling were: 287 g/t (29.3 cut) /2.3 m (Moman), 110 g/t (15.3
coupe) /3.5 m (Fleur de Lys), 20 g/t/1.10m (Grenouille-2), 54
g/t/0.75 m (Nouska) et 18 g/t/1.10m (Z-1). Furthermore, some grab
samples had returned gold grades of 211 g/t (Lingo-W), 20 g/t
(Lingo-E) and 120 g/t (Lingo-S). These veins are mainly related
to a deformation corridor (2 km X 100 m), but also to tonalites
and cross-cutting structures.

SIRIOS is also exploring for base metals (Cu-Mo-Ag-Bi-Te-Au) ot
TILLY (100 percent) and diamonds, among other projects at WEMINDJI
(100 percent), directly adjacent to the MAJESCOR project where
results of 9,000 kimberlitic indicators and numerous angular
kimberlite clasts (kimberlite: diamond bearing host rock) were
just released from a glacial sediment sample. Some 17,544,474
Common Shares of SIRIOS are issued and outstanding, trading on the
Montreal Exchange under SOI.

The AQUILON property is located ten km south of LA-1, Quebec, and
is cut by a road. SOQUEM Inc. is a division of SGF Mineral inc.,
a subsidiary of the SGF, which mission is to carry out economic
development projects in partnership and in accordance with
accepted requirements of profitability.
