TSX VENTURE SYMBOL: SOI JULY 10, 2003 - 15:03 ET SIRIOS: Exploration Program in Progress on Aquilon, Closing of a Private Financing MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA--Officers of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. are pleased to announce that an exploration program is presently ongoing on the gold property AQUILON (SIRIOS 50%, SOQUEM 50%), located 10 km south of the Laforge 1 hydro-electrical complex in James Bay, Quebec. Exploration activities, which will be carried out until the end of July, include mechanical stripping and rock sampling on numerous targets outlined in 2002 by geophysical and geological surveys. SIRIOS reports the closing of the non-brokered private placement as released on June 25, 2003 with "FONDS REGIONAL DE SOLIDARITE NORD-DU-QUEBEC" which subscribed for 500,000 Common Shares Company at a price of $0.10 per share. The new issued shares to be issued will have a holding period ending on July 4, 2004. The proceeds of this placement shall be used by SIRIOS for general purposes.
