SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. : Exploration Program in Progress
on Aquilon
MONTREAL, QUEBEC–The Officers of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. announce
that an exploration program, managed by SOQUEM INC., is presently
ongoing on the gold property AQUILON (SIRIOS 50%, SOQUEM 50%),
located 10 km south of the Laforge 1 hydro-electrical complex in
James Bay, Quebec. Induced-polarisation (IP) geophysical
surveying, prospection and mapping have been ongoing for two
weeks. A 750 meters diamond drilling program will start in
mid-august in the Lingo vein area (high grade gold) as well as on
other targets recently outlined by geophysical and geological
surveys.
SIRIOS, recipient of the 2001 QPA Prospector award, is one of the
most active mining exploration companies in Quebec. SIRIOS is the
principal shareholder of DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX – DOS), one of
the leaders for diamond exploration in the Quebec Otish region.
SOQUEM INC. is a division of SGF Mineral inc., a subsidiary of the
