SIRIOS RESOURCES INC.: New Spectacular Assays Results on
Aquilon
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA–The officers of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC.
(“SIRIOS”) are pleased to announce the most recent results from
the summer exploration program on its AQUILON property (SIRIOS 50
%, SOQUEM 50 %) located 10 kilometers south of LA-1 (Laforge 1)
hydro-electrical complex, James Bay, Quebec. The exploration
program consisted of line cutting, trench mapping in addition to
prospecting, and rock sampling. Partner and project manager
SOQUEM Inc.(“SOQUEM”) financed the program (ref.: 12/07/99 and
09/14/99 press releases).
Numerous new surface showings were discovered and consist of
centimetric to metric size very high grade gold bearing quartz
veins. These veins are related either to a deformation corridor
of at least two kilometer length and 100 meter width, either to
tonalitic intrusives or to a transversal fault. In the area of
the Lingo veins, three main veins are now known including the west
vein wich shows a minimum 175 meter strike length.
The following results are from grab sampling and rock saw
channelling. Many samples with very high visible gold content
were kept for exhibition purposes. Some of these samples will be
exhibited during the Association des prospecteurs du Québec –
Association professionnelle des géologues et géophysiciens du
Québec 2000 Convention to be held in Montreal from September 5 to
September 8, 2000.

Many other showings were discovered and warrant additional surface
exploration work. A 1,500 meter diamond drilling program has
recently been completed and results should be announced shortly.
Finally, following these very encouraging results, SIRIOS and
SOQUEM increased fourfold the property area to more than 227
square km to cover completely the Aquilon volcano-sedimentary
belt.
All samples were assayed at the Rouyn-Noranda Xral laboratory by
fire assay methods with DCP finish and checking by gravimetry.
TECHNOLOGY
As released on February 29, 2000, SIRIOS is pursuing its intent
effort to have an Internet private company entering on the public
market. Developments on this matter are expected shortly and will
be announced within the next few weeks.
