MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(CCNMatthews – Nov. 10, 2005) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) reports that a major regional gold anomaly was detected through the bottom-lake sediment sampling carried out on its fully-owned KUKAMES property in addition to a second one on its OPINACA NORD property. These properties are located in the vicinity of the ELEONORE gold discovery of Virginia Gold Mines Inc., James Bay, Quebec.

The KUKAMES anomaly comprises 36 contiguous samples defining a 45 square km source area while on OPINACA NORTH the second gold anomaly covers a smaller area. These results interpreted as very positive by SIRIOS need to be validated by a second analytical method. They will help focus future exploration work on very specific areas. Eighty-one claims were added to the KUKAMES and OPINACA NORTH properties to cover adequately these areas of interest. They now respectively total 614 and 411 claims.

The detailed bottom-lake sediment sampling was completed in August 2005 on the KUKAMES and OPINACA NORTH properties where 454 samples (approximately 1 sample per sq km) were taken and assayed for 59 elements. The sampling and preparation of the samples was completed by IOS Services Geoscientifiques Inc. (IOS) of Chicoutimi and supervised by Rejean Girard, Geo. Qualified Person. Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) assays were performed in Actlabs laboratories, Ancaster, Ontario and duplicates and standards were added by IOS for quality control needs. A second series of assays on the same samples by Neutron Activation Analysis is in progress in order to confirm the anomalies detected by ICP-MS.

The areas of interest defined by the bottom-lake sediments anomalies described in this release were not covered during a very brieve geological reconnaissance (4-days) completed in July 2005 on the two properties; intrusive and sedimentary rocks favourable for gold mineralisation were observed but no gold occurence was located.

SIRIOS now controls 1,602 claims covering close to 850 square kilometers (210,000 acres) of high potential ground in four projects in the ELEONORE Discovery region : KUKAMES, OPINACA NORD and the ones optioned to Golden Valley Mines : CHEECHOO and SHARKS.

The TSX-V has not reviewed and does not accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
