MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(CCNMatthews – Sept. 29, 2005) – Officers of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) are pleased to announce that a mapping and prospecting program is presently under way on its CHEECHOO project which is located in the vicinity of the Eleonore gold discovery of Virginia Gold Mines Inc., James Bay, Quebec. The program is being carried out by SIRIOS’ partner on high priority areas identified from airborne geophysical surveys completed in March 2005 and from regional geological data; and should delineate drilling targets.

The CHEECHOO project now includes the SHARKS property and totals 577 claims covering 30,000 hectares or 75,000 acres of high gold potential ground. The project is subject to option agreements with Golden Valley Mines Ltd. and Canadian Royalties Inc. (Press releases : December 3 and 16, 2004; February 7, 2005). A detailed bottom lake sediment sampling survey (approximately 300 samples) was also completed on the CHEECHOO project and the results are pending.

KUKAMES and OPINACA NORD PROJECTS :

A detailed bottom lake sediment sampling survey was completed on the KUKAMES and OPINACA NORD properties.A total of 454 samples were collected and are being processed.

SIRIOS owns 1,521 claims covering close to 800 square kilometers (200,000 acres) of high potential ground in three projects in the Eleonore Discovery region : CHEECHOO (includes the previous Sharks project), KUKAMES and OPINACA NORD.

SIRIOS is exploring for precious and base metals in Quebec. SIRIOS is the main shareholder of DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX-V: DOS), a leader in diamond exploration in Quebec.
