MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – Feb. 5, 2008) – Following the reception of the final report of the induced polarization survey on its molybdenum-copper-gold property TILLY, SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) announces that seventy-three anomalies warrant follow-up work. Most of these anomalies extend over a length that varies from a couple hundred meters to more than one kilometer. They are interpreted as being caused by metallic mineralizations close to the surface (sub-outcropping). Numerous molybdenum or copper-silver-gold showings (ref.: 11/19/2007 Press Release) coincide with them, particularly the mineralized area Calimero-South that corresponds with a conducting zone of 25-50 m. by 500 m.

SIRIOS also received the assay results from the last thirty-five rock samples collected in 2007, including twelve 1-meter samples taken from 2 channels completed in the Silly Cat area. The channels averaged 0.09% Mo over 4 m and 0.06% Mo over 8 m. The length of these channels was limited by the sizes of outcrops. The molybdenum mineralization seems to extend in three directions. Of the 23 remaining grab samples, only two samples from the Calimero-South area returned the following significant results : 2.57% Cu, 48.5 g/t, Ag and 0.3 g/t Au for the first sample and 0.45% Cu, 12.2 g/t Ag and 0.4 g/t Au for the second one.

Correction :

A correction should be made to the November 19, 2007 SIRIOS press release concerning TILLY. The Calimero-South assay results table should have included the following values :

All rock samples were assayed at the ALS-Chemex Val D’Or laboratory, using atomic absorption technique for gold and ICP for all other elements. Industry-standard quality controls were applied, including blank, standard and duplicate inserts in the sample series.

Between 1997 and 2001, SIRIOS realized the first significant molybdenum discovery of James Bay area, Quebec on its TILLY property, while discovering, at the same time, an important porphyry complex.
