MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA–SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. has negotiated a
private placement to be completed before December 31, 2001, in the
amount of $115,000 with a Limited Partnership established outside
Quebec, consisting of flow-through shares at a price of $0.15 per
share. The proceeds shall be used to incur Canadian Exploration
Expenditures on SIRIOS’ mineral properties located in Quebec.
SIRIOS, one of the most dynamic mining exploration companies in
Quebec and granted Prospector of the Year by the QPA, has
20,592,474 Common Shares issued and outstanding

Another Limited Partnership established in Quebec recently agreed
to subscribe for an amount of $110,000 of B units of DIOS through
the Joint Prospectus of SIRIOS-DIOS. Each B unit, at a price of
$1,000, includes 3,333 Common Shares of DIOS and 1,167 share
purchase warrants.

As previously released, SIRIOS shall raise $300,000 with Limited
Partnerships established in Quebec via Prospectus whereas DIOS has
concluded up to date letters of intent to secure such financing
totaling $180,000, for a total of $480,000 of non-flow-through
Common Shares to be subscribed through the prospectus in Quebec.

Diamond Indicator Mineral assaying is ongoing on the 33 Carats
project from DIOS (917 claims covering 47,700 hectares, plus 3,500
hectares pending) directly adjacent to the Ashton-Soquem property
hosting the recent discovery of two diamond-bearing kimberlitic
pipes). Almost 200 glacial till samples were taken this Fall and
assaying is actually at the heavy liquid separation stage.
Results should be available in the months to come. Apart from
Majescor, DIOS is the only junior mining company with ground
directly adjacent to the Renard-1 and 2 Discovery Property.

DIOS is one of the most active players in the Eastern Canada
Diamond Play, holding directly and indirectly 100% interest in
more than 145,000 hectares of high potential properties for
diamond discovery in the Superior Craton: 33 Carats, Hotish (1,000
claims totaling some 53,100 hectares 100 km south of the
Ashton-Soquem discovery), and Wemindji, Quebec, and Scholfield,
Ontario.

Units consisting of 75% shares of DIOS and 25% shares of SIRIOS
are still offered via prospectus (A units). Of these, 80 percent
are flow-through shares. Canaccord Capital Corporation is the
underwriter.

DIOS has 3,264,811 shares outstanding held by SIRIOS, 1,972,220 of
these shares to be distributed to its shareholders the day before
listing DIOS’ shares on CDNX.
