MONTREAL, QUEBEC–(CCNMatthews – Dec. 6, 2005) – SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) reports that it increased its OPINACA NORD and KUKAMES properties. These fully-owned properties are located in the vicinity of the ELEONORE gold discovery of Virginia Gold Mines Inc., James Bay, Quebec. One hundred and six new claims were added to the OPINACA NORD property and totals now 517 claims covering 270 square km (67,000 acres) while the KUKAMES property totals now 638 claims covering approximately an area of 330 square km (82,000 acres). The new claims were selected following the most recent analysis of the geological and geochemical data of the Opinaca area by the SIRIOS’ team.

A major regional gold anomaly was detected through the bottom-lake sediment sampling carried out on the KUKAMES property in addition to a second one on its OPINACA NORD property (ref.: 11/10/2005 Press release). These results are being presently validated by a second analytical method. They will help focus future exploration work on very specific areas.

SIRIOS now controls 1,732 claims covering close to 900 square kilometers (225,000 acres) of high potential ground in four projects in the ELEONORE Discovery region: KUKAMES, OPINACA NORD (SIRIOS 100%) and the ones optioned to Golden Valley Mines : CHEECHOO and SHARKS.
