SIRIOS-Terra Nova, Brazil : Mineralized Zone Intersected
in First Three Drill Holes

MONTREAL QC, CANADA–SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. is pleased to report
that the first three diamond drill holes (all inclined 60 degrees
to the south) completed at the Terra Nova gold property, Mato
Grosso, Brazil, have all intersected mineralization associated
with a well defined E-W fault structure steeply dipping to the
North (75-85 degrees). The zone is characterized by up to 10
meters of intense pervasive sericitic alteration of a granitoid
host rock, with disseminated pyrite in the hanging wall and
footwall of a narrow (50 cm) quartz-pyrite vein.

Half core samples have been taken across the mineralized zone and
sent to the Geosol (Lakefield) laboratory in Belo Horizonte.
First assay results are expected within two weeks.

The Terra Nova property (ref: 01/16/2003 and 09/26/2002 press
releases) covers 156 sq km in northern Mato Grosso state east of
the town of Terra Nova. It falls within the Alta Floresta –
Peixoto de Azevedo Mineral Province. Local garimpeiros have
produced gold from high grade quartz veins and mineralized wall
rocks over widths from one to three meters within a three km long
zone of workings. Present drilling is centered on a 200 meter
section in the western part of the mineralized zone.

SIRIOS and Amazonia (http://www.amzgold.com/) formed a strategic
alliance to explore for and develop small to medium size high
grade gold deposits with near term production potential in
Brazil.
